Professional coffee machines can handle more workload
Professional coffee machines, unlike home ones, are made from higher quality – more durable materials, have more functions, and are primarily prepared for greater workload. They have larger water tanks, some can refill water automatically, and can make more cups of espresso at once. For professional coffee machines, easy and quick operation, easy maintenance, and practical accessories such as a cup warming surface, steam wand for frothing milk or heating drinks are important.
Automatic or manual coffee machine?
Coffee machines can be divided into automatic or manual. The former can prepare a wide range of drinks with just the press of a button. They usually have a built-in grinder for coffee beans and a comprehensive control panel (possibly with a display). An indispensable feature of these machines is a water tank and coffee waste container. Manual coffee machines do not have a grinder, and coffee is prepared in a special portafilter.
Properly ground coffee
The basis of a unique coffee experience is properly ground coffee. Different grind sizes are suitable for different types of coffee preparation. If you buy pre-ground coffee in a store, you are unlikely to be satisfied with the result. Fortunately, there are several solutions. One is to purchase a separate coffee grinder (ideally with burrs) with sufficiently fine grind size regulation. The coffee extraction time should be approximately 25-30 seconds, and the volume of the resulting drink about 30 ml.
